LHS Music brings home gold and silver

Licking High School Choir and Band attended the MSHSAA District competition on Friday, March 7, 2025. Numerous ensembles, trios, quartets and soloists were awarded gold or silver medals at the event. Gold medalists will advance to the State Music Festival on Friday, May 2, 2025..

Gold medal winners included: Gwen Campbell – Trumpet Solo; Paige Kilby – Vocal Solo; Nicole Paolella – Vocal Solo; LHS Percussion Ensemble; Senior Girls Trio Vocal Ensemble; LHS Girls Double Quartet Vocal Ensemble; and LHS Mixed Double Quartet Vocal Ensemble.

Silver medalists included: Ronald Rife – Trumpet Solo; Taylor Hicks – Tenor Sax Solo; Kate Mitchell – Vocal Solo; Aubrey Gorman – Vocal Solo; Reece Lozoya – Vocal Solo; Reese Crossgrove – Vocal Solo; Josie Gifford – Vocal Solo; Ava Walker – Vocal Solo; Lillian Godi – Vocal Solo; LHS Woodwind Trio; and LHS Brass Ensemble.
