Ozark Family Rodeo held in Licking

This young cowboy entered the walk/trot bulls but enjoyed a little bucking before a “pick-up man” plucked him from the bull.

Ozark Family Rodeo came to the Licking Rodeo Grounds on Saturday for roping and riding action. Cowboys and cowgirls spanning a wide range of ages kicked up some dust and showed what they could do.

Breakaway roping, team roping, ranch broncs, mutton bustin’, bulls from walk/trot level to senior mini bulls, barrel racing, pole bending and Pro-Am 15 & Up categories were seen throughout the evening. Local talent and other Ozark Family Rodeo competitors rode and roped in the event.

The Ozark Family Rodeo Finals will be held this Saturday in Thayer.
