The Licking Elementary Beta Club went to the National Elementary Beta Convention in Nashville, Tennessee, June 21-23. This year’s convention was themed “Wired for Success” and featured national academic and arts competitions and the Beta Serves Project.

Throughout the week, our students demonstrated leadership, teamwork and excellence while competing alongside talented students from across the nation. Three Beta members proudly participated in the Talent Trio Dance Competition (Harper Cummins, Kali Dooley and Natilee Stewart) and one in the Quilling Competition (Rachel Hagler), showcasing their hard work and dedication.

Beyond the competitions, students enjoyed making lasting memories by exploring some of Nashville’s most popular attractions. Highlights included visiting the Grand Ole Opry for Beta Night, exploring fascinating marine life at the Aquarium Restaurant, and experiencing the excitement and culture that make Nashville such a special destination.

The week was filled with learning, friendship and unforgettable experiences. We are incredibly proud of our Beta students for representing Licking Elementary. Sponsors Candice Shepherd, Serena Hagler, and Rebecca Ichord, and several family members accompanied the students.
