Lady Wildcats end season in District Semifinals

The Lady Wildcats basketball team entered the Class 3 District 9 tournament on Monday, February 23, as the number 3 seed. In the first round they faced sixth seed Cabool, and came away with a big win, 56-27.

A 37-53 loss to number 2 seed Willow Springs in the semifinal round on Wednesday, February 25, ended their season prematurely. The Lady Wildcats battled for the win, but came up on the wrong side of the scoreboard when it was all said and done.

The Willow Springs Lady Bears went on to win the District title and the sectional round of the State Tournament. They face Skyline on Friday, March 6, in the quarterfinals at Nixa.
