Lady Cats week in review

On Monday, December 15, the Lady Wildcats faced conference foe Richland on the Lady Bears’ home court. The Lady Cats held a five-point lead at the half. The two teams battled it out defensively, but a deficit near the end of the fourth quarter forced Licking to send Richland to the charity line. The Lady Cats played hard but ended up on the short end, 46-54.The Lady Cats were unable to put together a win, with a varsity score of 46-54. Junior Varsity lost 11-17.

On Thursday, the Crocker Lady Lions came to Licking for a Varsity game. The Lady Cats gave a strong effort but were unable to overpower the Lady Lions, falling by a score of 39-63.

Licking will compete in the Mountain Grove Holiday Tournament the week of Christmas, facing Houston on Monday afternoon in the first round.
