This year’s judges were Licking R-8 Superintendent Telena Haneline, Licking Mayor Scott Ogden, and David Potts. They had the task of sampling every chili, spicy or not, and every dessert, also spicy or not (spicy brownies won third place in desserts).
This year’s winners in the chili competition were: first place – Tonya Parrish, second place – Billy Martin, and third place – Cheyenne Radford.
Winners in the dessert competition were: first place – Cheyenne Radford, second place – Donnetta James, and third place – Chadd Johnson.
Winners received awards for their efforts. Those attending the event enjoyed a bowl (or two) of chili topped off with a scrumptious dessert.
