Obituary – Randy Creighton

Randy Creighton, 76, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, died November 5, 2025, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, after a stroke.

He was born August 29, 1949, to Col. Richard Creighton and Myra Sayes Creighton in Riverside, California.

He attended the University of Houston, graduating with a B.S. in Chemistry.

Randy is survived by wife Pam, daughters Kelly Creighton and Kristina Creighton Miremont, sister Sondra Creighton, granddaughters Lucy Fasullo and Creighton Miremont and grandson Abel Miremont.

Randy worked as an Environmental Consultant before taking a position with the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality until he retired in 2024.

He had many talents and interests which included creating stained glass lamps, growing orchids, lapidary and rock hunting, collecting knives and cooking.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Myra Creighton, and father-in-law Jim Breedlove.

Randy was cremated and his ashes will be spread in Montana where he enjoyed spending time in the beautiful outdoors, rock hunting and watching the wildlife.
