B&M Rodeo came to Licking’s rodeo arena Saturday. Organizer Justin Brock and family put on the show.

Brock is from the Roby area, and is president of the Roby Saddle Club. His goal is to share Jesus through rodeo, and to draw kids into Christ.

Saturday’s rodeo started with the youth, with 10 and under Barrel Racing. Emily Haglund, of Lynchburg, won the buckle with a time of 18.87. Youth ages 11-16 were next, and Hartley Walker, of Cabool, took home the buckle with a time of 16.72. Running the barrels in 16.28, Beth Cornman, of Mountain View, took the buckle in the Open category.

Pole Bending followed barrel racing, and Tinley Todd won in the 10 and under category with a 24.94. Paige Haglund got the buckle in the 11-16 group, and Kendyll Haglund won the Open with 21.47.

There were several young cowboys who competed in the Mutton Bustin’, and Brett Palmer earned the buckle with a score of 80.

Franklin Rust scored a 62 in the Calf Riding, earning the win.

Tyler Smith eked out a win in the Steer Riding, with a 77.

A Ranch Rodeo followed the individual rodeo events.
