Obituary – Michael “Mike” Crowe

Michael (Mike) L. Crowe, born May 14, 1955, in DeKalb County, Indiana, passed away Friday evening, May 30, 2025, with his wife by his side.
Mike spent his early years in Los Angeles, Calif., before moving to Buffalo, Mo., with his mother at the age of fifteen. At age 18, Mike went to work for Magnavox in Springfield, Mo., proudly working his way up to color repair technician, almost 25 years of service before the company closed its U.S. doors. While working his “day job,” he found his passion for cattle farming and continued to raise cattle until 2021, when his health started to decline.
Mike loved checking the cows, seeing the new babies, anxiously awaiting hay season, and giving all the nieces, nephews, and then the grandchildren rides on his big red tractor!
Mike is preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Dorothy and Shelby Rambo; his father, Arthur Crowe; and his beloved son, Nicholas Crowe.
Mike is survived by his wife, Janice Crowe, of the home; his sons, Christopher Crowe, Buffalo, Mo., and Timothy Youngstrom, Springfield, Mo.; his grandchildren, Vash Youngstrom, Licking, Mo., Riley Crowe, and Korra Youngstrom. He is also survived by two stepbrothers, Larry and Jerry Rambo and their wives, and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Mike gave us all the gifts of new experiences and the appreciation of the land and all the beauty that the Lord has put into it, and for that gift, he will always be remembered.
