Fish Fry Benefit exceeds fundraising goal

Thanks to the generosity and support of the community, the fundraiser fish fry held Saturday evening at Licking Pentecostal Holiness Church was a huge success. The fundraiser was to help Karla Reno as she fights cancer.
Organizers had purchased 75 pounds of fish for the event, but quickly realized that would not be enough. Two more boxes of fish were necessary to get through the evening. Over 300 people were served, and many of those attending also participated in the auction and raffles that were being held.
The goal for the evening was exceeded, and organizers expressed their gratitude to the community for making the event such a success.
