Karla’s Kickin’ Cancer’s Caboose benefit
The Karla’s Kickin’ Cancer’s Caboose Fish Fry Benefit is planned for 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, at Licking Pentecostal Holiness Church. The menu will be catfish, hushpuppies, fried taters, coleslaw, beans, hotdogs and more. A gun raffle, and a live and silent auction will also be held.
Karla Reno is undergoing treatment for Stage IV large B-cell lymphoma, which has metastasized to her liver and spine. The benefit is to raise funds to help her with her expenses during this battle.
Raffle tickets for the gun may be purchased in advance at Woody’s Flower Shop. The gun is an SXP Black Shadow 12/12 gauge Winchester.
Meals will be $12 per plate for adults and $6 per plate for children five years and under. Local carryouts will be available by calling 573-201-6284.
Lynn Shepherd will be conducting the live auction. Among donated items are tickets for The Heygoods and from the Clay Cooper Theater, in Branson.
