Christmas in Our Hometown

Christmas in Our Hometown has been helping children enjoy Christmas for over 25 years. They provide gifts that include clothing and toys for area children who might otherwise have none. Benevolent volunteers who support the non-profit program give of their time, monetary donations, or by adopting a family. Wish lists are submitted at the time of application to the program.

Kassi Ramsey is coordinating the community program along with a similar program through the Licking R-VIII School District, to ensure each child in the community has a bright Christmas.

Applications for Christmas in Our Hometown will still be available on Wednesday and Thursday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Licking United Community Help Center located at 209 Park St. in Licking, or at Right Away Rent-to-Own & Payday Loans during business hours, Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. It is located at the corner of Hwy. 32 East and Main Street in Licking. Applications MUST be completed and returned by 5 p.m. on Friday, November 22!

If you would like to make a contribution, adopt a family, or otherwise volunteer your assistance, please contact Kassi Ramsey at 417-818-2488, or donations may be mailed to P.O. Box 52, Licking, MO 65542. Item donations or monetary contributions will also be accepted at Right Away Rent-to-Own & Payday Loan, during business hours. Donations should be received by Friday, December 13. Donations received after that date or those not used this year will be saved for next year’s Christmas in Our Hometown.
