The Fall Festival at the Licking Mill is this Saturday. There will be Car Seat Inspections available courtesy of the health department from 9 to 11, and the LPD will offer their Child ID program. A military tribute and opening ceremony will include VFW Commander Billie Krewson with the Missing Man Table in honor of National POW MIA Recognition Day, which is the 20th. Live music, games, craft vendors, food, a hog calling contest and more can be found at the festival.
Intercounty Electric is looking for a bucket truck operator, the Texas County Circuit Clerk’s office is looking for a full time court clerk, and PWSD #4 is in need of an office secretary.
Bids are being sought for a surplus Fair Play Scoreboard set at Licking R-8 School.
