Barrel Racing fun at the Rodeo Grounds

It was a great evening for Barrel Racing Saturday at the Licking Rodeo Grounds. Approximately an hour of exhibition barrels was followed by nine entries in the PeeWee category, 30 in the Youth bracket, and 32 adult entries. Sixty-two entered the Open category.

Families and other spectators enjoyed the evening watching the skilled riders and horses maneuver through their sharp turns in competition for the fastest time.

Money winners for the evening were as follows:

PeeWee 1D Placings: Eva Tomnitz 1st, Cactus Bates 2nd, DJ Schober 3rd.

Youth 1D Placings: Keili Combs 1st, Sofia Brooks 2nd, Whitley Wilfong 3rd.

Youth 2D Placings: Dallie Chapman 1st, Chloe Tomnitz 2nd, Braylyn Conway 3rd.

Youth 3D Placings: Josie Higgins 1st, Riley Wilfong 2nd, Adelinn Wilfong 3rd.

Adult 1D Placings: Nikki Reynolds 1st, Dusty Lewis 2nd.

Adult 2D Placings: Jade Chapman 1st, Randy Kirkman 2nd.

Adult 3D Placings: Keitta Fugate 1st.

Adult 4D Placings: Jade Chapman 1st, Ronda McCarter 2nd.

Open 1D Placings: Abby Henson 1st, Nikki Reynolds 2nd, Nealia Courtois 3rd.

Open 2D Placings: Jade Chapman 1st, Randy Kirkman 2nd, Tristan Burden 3rd.

Open 3D Placings: Morgan Pogue 1st, Sofia Brooks 2nd, Makayah Alexander 3rd.
