The Licking Class of 1962 held a reunion at El Carnaval, on Saturday. Classmates from other years, friends and family, totaling 22, joined the celebration.
The class of 1962 had been holding their reunions every five years, but after their 60th they decided to start getting together every year. This year is an anniversary year, 62 years for the Class of 1962. Attendees from ’62 were, Don Creek, Myrna Van Deusen, Alta Dixon, Norman Dixon, Bonnie Fischer, Charlene Jones, Bill Link, Jerry Stienbarger and Gary Whitaker.
Whitaker, Class President, good-naturedly spoke to the gathering. Bonnie Fischer’s brother, Phillip Fischer (Class of 1959), who was visiting from California, recognized the birthday of good friend Bob Dixon (Class of 1959).
Those present enjoyed good food, lots of laughter, sharing past times and current happenings.
