Obituary – Bobby L. Harris

Bobby Lee Harris, age 66, of Edgar Springs, Missouri, passed away on October 22, 2025. He was born on June 21, 1959, in Rolla, Missouri, to Robert (Bob) and Pansy (Betty) Harris. He was a devoted husband of 44 years to Anita, loving father and amazing grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Betty Sue Booker; one brother, Billy Harris; and two grandchildren, Maycie Dove and Gunner Lee.

He is survived by his wife, Anita; son, Joshua; daughter, Jessica; and granddaughter, Kynleigh, all of Edgar Springs; one brother, Brian Harris; one sister, Brenda (Steve) Byrd; and brother-in-law Charles Booker, along with several nieces and nephews, other family members and friends that will miss him dearly.

Bobby was very hardworking and dedicated. He spent over 30 years working for Gerald Harris Construction, where he was known for driving equipment from place to place, building houses, doing concrete, and whatever else the job demanded. Bobby loved being outside, especially playing with his grandkids and nieces and nephews. He enjoyed working on his mowers and whatever other projects he could find.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 27, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 28, at 10 a.m. at Fox Chapel. Burial will follow the funeral service at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Edgar Springs.
