Community gathers for 74th Raymondville Picnic

The 74th Annual Raymondville Picnic was held beginning Thursday night at the Raymondville fairgrounds. Despite a rainy Thursday night, organizers consider the annual event a success. Crowds returned on Friday and Saturday evenings to hear the music, eat delicious fair food, and ride the rides. But more than that, it was an opportunity for the community to gather, renew old acquaintances, visit with neighbors and friends, and make new friends. Leland Martin joined Garold McCoy and the South 63 Band on Friday evening, and many turned out for that.
