Licking artists featured in Arts Rolla show

Arts Rolla and Rolla Health & Fitness Centre are hosting the Current River Artists through September 24, in an art exhibit featuring 54 pieces of artwork, created by seven artists from the Licking area.

Friday evening, September 6, the First Friday Opening Reception was held at the Centre, with many of the artists attending. Seven pieces had sold by 6:30 Friday evening, making the show a success from the beginning. Textiles, jewelry and paintings comprised the works being shown.

Art by JoAnn Biros, Billie Jean Blaylock Boley, Patty Burmeister, Sandy Campbell, Jan Rensch, Ellen Reynolds and Connie Blaylock Wallace is featured in the exhibit.

To see the artwork, visit the Centre, 1200 Holloway St., Rolla. The exhibit is located in the lobby area and along the hallways at either side of the main foyer.
