Back to school giveaway helps many

Volunteers were busy Saturday afternoon in the parking lot of Licking Assembly of God Church. The church held their annual back to school giveaway. Cereals, snacks, cleaning products, a packet of school supplies, juices and coconut water drinks were among the items given at this year’s event. Pastor Paul Richardson estimated between 250 and 300 families were helped by the giveaway.

Cases of products awaited families, and weeks to months worth of some supplies were handed out.
