Anna Mae’s on Main held their Grand Opening on Friday, May 31. Owner Shannon Smith and her husband, Doug, are now sharing their family’s love for old things with patrons at the antique and vintage shop. Granddaughters, Prayli and Primli Smith also happily assist as needed, even sharing their favorite items on the shelves.
Bringing the nostalgia of the old to Main Street, the family run business was named after Shannon’s two grandmothers.
“We have a passion for old stuff,” said Shannon. “And we’re collectors.”
Quality, vintage items and antiques may be found, with a specialization in kitchenware and country store style items. The collections include vintage Pyrex and Fire King, crocks and novelty and utilitarian items of long ago. The hats are also a fun way to enjoy a shopping spree; a mirror is provided.
Their knowledge of the pieces may only be exceeded by their passion and appreciation for them, all of which they more than willingly share.
They also carry candles, teas and farm fresh eggs.
Future expansion anticipated is cookies by Prayli and lemonade by Primli.
Shannon’s USA Mortgage Lending office is also located at Anna Mae’s on Main. She has been in the home loan industry for 25-years and would be happy to assist you with home loan inquiries at this same location.
Anna Mae’s on Main is open Thursday through Saturday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. They are located at 129 S. Main Street, Licking; on Facebook: Anna Mae’s on Main; and if you are a collector or have a specific antique, vintage or collector interest, let them know. They may be contacted at 573-308-2935.
