It was a perfect spring day for vendors and shoppers alike on Saturday at the Licking Mill Craft & Treasure Fest. Music lovers enjoyed the day as well, beginning with some Southern Rock by Moonshine Xpress and ending with The 3 C’s, singing country/gospel.

Vendors offered woodcrafts, leather belts, burlap products, massages, bedding plants and more at the event. The McHollands cooked hot dogs and hamburgers to feed hungry shoppers, vendors and music lovers, and the Lewis family made delicious lemonade to keep everyone cool.

Licking Downtown offered Mill design items at their booth and accepted donations for maintenance of the mill. At their side, the Knights of Columbus also had a fundraiser, selling raffle tickets for their annual gun raffle. The Wildcat Travel Club sold “treasures” at their booth to fundraise for their next educational trip.

The Licking branch of the Texas County Library had a book giveaway for children, and several left with smiles on their faces.

Licking Downtown Inc. wished to thank all who volunteered to make the event happen, including Moonshine Xpress, The 3 C’s and the Licking FFA Chapter members. They were also appreciative of all the vendors, shoppers and music lovers who showed up to make it a great day.
