The generous donations by six businesses have made it possible for the Licking School District to purchase a new video board and scoreboard for the high school gymnasium.
Four Anchor sponsorships have been made, and the names of Progressive Ozark Bank, Rinne Pharmacy, Rinne Tire Pros and Town & Country Bank will be featured on the video board, which will replace the scoreboard on the north wall of the gym at the right side of the stage. These sponsors will contribute $20,000 over five years, and their names will remain on the video board permanently.
Two Founding sponsorships have been made, and the names of Pepsi and Town & Country Supermarket will find permanent locations on the new scoreboard, which will replace the current scoreboard on the south gym wall. A donation of $10,000 will be spread over five years for each of these sponsors.
For those wanting a permanent spot on the boards, two more Founding Sponsorships are still available. Opportunities for yearly advertising will also be available.
The scoreboards currently hanging in the high school gym will be moved to the FEMA gym.
The new boards are anticipated to arrive during the summer break. With the sound system upgrades already in place and new lighting planned for the summer, next year promises to be a new experience for events held in the Sherman Hill Field House.
