STORM SIREN TESTING
Testing of the Licking storm sirens is scheduled to take place at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 20.
PRAYER WALK
The annual prayer walk at Licking schools will be held on Sunday, August 23, at 4 p.m. Those wishing to pray for the upcoming school year should meet at the elementary flagpole.
ELEMENTARY OPEN HOUSE AND SUPPLY BASH
Licking Elementary Open House will be August 24, from 4-6 p.m. A Back-to-School Supply Bash will be held the same afternoon at the FEMA building from 3:30-6 p.m.
FAMILY RODEO
A Family Rodeo will be held Saturday, August 29, at the Licking Rodeo Grounds.
MITCHELL REUNION
The Mitchell Reunion will be held Saturday, September 6, beginning at 11 a.m. with potluck lunch at 1 p.m. at Deer Lick Park in Licking.
BUCK WADE GOLF TOURNAMENT
The Inaugural Buck Wade Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, September 12, at the Houston Municipal Golf Course. This two person scramble is a fundraiser for the Houston Senior Center. For more information or to sign up, call 417-217-2736.
FALL FESTIVAL AT MILL
The annual Pickin’ on the Porch and Fall Festival will be held on Saturday, September 19, at the historic Licking Mill. The festival is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will feature live music, vendors, a quilt show and more. Contact 573-674-2547 for vendor information.

UNITED JOY WOMEN’S CONFERENCE

The Licking Assembly of God invites all to attend their weekly Legacy Service, held from 1 – 2 p.m. every Wednesday. This non-denominational service was begun to provide an option for those who wish to attend a mid-week service held during daylight hours.
