Progressive Ozark Bank partners with FHLB Des Moines to bring $60,000 to six Ozarks organizations

Progressive Ozark Bank, in partnership with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines (FHLB Des Moines), is proud to announce that six nonprofit organizations serving south-central Missouri have been awarded grants through the FHLB Des Moines Member Impact Fund.
Through the program, FHLB Des Moines and Progressive Ozark Bank provided a $10,000 investment for each organization, resulting in a total of $60,000 invested across six communities.
The recipient organizations include:
• Salem – Salem Public Schools Foundation
• Licking – Texas County Food Pantry
• Houston – Bright Futures
• Mountain Grove – Pregnancy Resource Center
• Mansfield – Community Center
• Hartville – Davis Field
“This partnership allows us to multiply the impact of local giving,” said Jason Stone, Vice President & Manager of Progressive Ozark Bank. “These organizations work every day to strengthen our communities, and we’re honored to partner with FHLB Des Moines to help support their missions.”
Each organization will use the funding to advance programs that improve the quality of life in the communities they serve.
Texas County Food Pantry will use the funds to support repairs to the refrigeration units, helping ensure fresh and perishable foods can continue to be safely stored for families in need. A portion of the donation will also help boost the pantry’s dry food inventory, allowing the organization to continue serving individuals and families throughout our communities.
Across Missouri, 956 grants were awarded through partnerships with 174 member institutions. FHLB Des Moines matched $3 for every $1 contributed by participating members, resulting in $25.9 million invested in communities throughout the state.

Over the coming weeks, Progressive Ozark Bank will recognize each recipient organization and share more about how these grants will strengthen communities across the Ozarks.
