Obituary – Glenda “Sue” Storm

 

Glenda Sue Storm, age 64, passed away July 6, 2026, in Licking, Mo. Sue was born July 22, 1961, in Houston, Mo., to Floyd Trolinger and Dorma Lee (Evans) Trolinger.

Sue is preceded in death by her husband, Dale, whom she married on March 17, 2012. She is also preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her son, Jason Elledge and wife Heather, of Licking; step-children, Errica and husband Patrick, of Crocker, Mo., Paula and husband Keith, of Wichita, Kan., and Justin and wife Amanda, of Nixa, Mo.; grandchildren, Abby, Annie, Ashlinn, Levi, Lauren, Brennon, Austin, Tyler, Kaiya and Madison; and great-grandchildren, Walker, Wyatt, Chloe, Rory, Evelyn and Liam.

Sue will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother. She loved sewing, gardening, going on trips, especially to the ocean, canning pickles and tomatoes, being outside in the sunshine, but most of all, loved being with her grandkids and the rest of her family.

Sue loved to cook and could make just about anything anyone requested. Her son, Jason, would stop by her house for lunch on his lunch break and she’d happily make him anything he wanted. She also loved to shop! And received four pairs of shoes in the mail while writing this! Sue will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial visitation for Sue will take place Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Licking Christian Church. A memorial service will take place Friday, July 17, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the Licking Christian Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Licking Christian Church or Licking Cemetery. A special thank you to all the family and friends for the prayers, food, and stopping by.
