Obituary – Franklin D Sullins

Franklin D Sullins was born to Clabe and Clara Mae Sullins on December 9, 1942, in Kinderpost, Mo. He went to be with the Lord on June 14, 2026, at the age of 83, surrounded by those he loved. Frank accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized on Sunday, June 14, 2015, at Montauk Baptist Church. Frank was married to his beloved, Patsy Ann Buckner, and they were married on October 28, 1967. Together they shared boys Brian, born on October 13, 1972, and Jesse, born on July 14, 1976.
Frank worked as a Union Painter for over 50 years; he continued to work side jobs with his boys and he was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, grabbing suckers, hunting and searching for mushrooms. He looked forward to spending the opening day of Trout Season at Montauk State Park with family and friends. Frank also enjoyed watching his grandkids participate in all their sporting events. He was an LHS sports fan and loved his St. Louis Cardinals. Frank jumped on any opportunity to scratch a lottery ticket and loved going on sibling trips to the casino. Later in life, Frank and his siblings fell into a routine of spending mornings together eating breakfast, watching game shows and playing the occasional game of Aggravation.
Frank loved his family and always put them first. He proudly hailed from Democrat Ridge, which won’t be the same without him. We will miss him to our core.
Frank is survived by his sons, Brian and wife, Faith, and Jesse and wife, Leah; seven wonderful grandchildren, Clabe and wife, Kiley, Ripleigh and Nate, Wilson, Winter, Finley, Elan and Jett; three great-grandchildren, Boone, Beau and Dashiell; siblings, Harvey Sullins and wife, Carol, Zedena Ullom and husband, Kenny, Maybell Gale and Geneva Sullins; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Herbert and Arreda Buckner, Gary and Laura Buckner, Wayne and Janet Buckner, and Dean and Brenda Buckner, Sharon Sullins, Bub Huff, along with many other adored family members and friends.
