Obituary – Deloris Pearl McBride

Deloris Pearl McBride, of Edgar Springs, Mo., passed away Monday, May 4, 2026, at the age of 79.

She was born on April 16, 1947, in Waynesville, Mo., to the late William Lee Harris and Fannie Ruth (Flemming) Harris. On August 6, 1970, she married Jerry Elmer McBride.

Deloris enjoyed filling her days with gardening, shopping and going to the beauty salon. A favorite part of her day was sitting on the front porch drinking coffee. The holidays always gave her much joy. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Deloris will be greatly missed by her surviving family which includes: her husband, Jerry McBride, of Edgar Springs, Mo.; a son, Jarrett McBride, of Edgar Springs, Mo.; two daughters, Heather Adams and husband, Michael, of Rolla, Mo., and Ginger Struemph and husband, Christopher, of Edgar Springs, Mo.; a brother, Donald Black of Rolla, Mo.; and four grandchildren, Hailey Adams, Addison Adams, Natalie Struemph and Gabriel Struemph.

A graveside service for Deloris P. McBride was conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the Edgar Springs Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 – 7 p.m. on Friday, May 8 at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla.

Memorial contributions in memory of Deloris are suggested to the perpetual care fund for the Edgar Springs Cemetery.
