Lady Wildcats Track and Field win District meet

The Licking Wildcats Track and Field teams brought their best to the Class 2 District 5 Championship meet on Saturday, May 9. The Lady Wildcats brought home the title of first place as a team at the meet, and two boys relay teams set new school records.
For the Lady Wildcats, results were as follows:
Triple Jump: Bailee Medlock 2nd, Jayde Thompson 3rd
100m Hurdles: Kylee Rinne 3rd
4x200m Relay: Jayde Thompson, Paxton Keeney, Hadlee Davis and Bailee Medlock 4th
Discus: Morgan Stone 1st, Ava Walker 3rd
Javelin: Jadyn Barnes 1st, Morgan Stone 4th
Pole Vault: Sadie Hutsell 1st
300m Hurdles: Penelope Huff 1st
Long Jump: Penelope Huff 1st
Shot Put: Morgan Stone 1st
200m: Penelope Huff 1st
For the Wildcats, the following results were reported:
4x200m Relay: New school record of 1:35.75, Jett Sullins, Gage Mesger, Karson Walker and Ethan Stout 2nd
4x100m Relay: New school record of 45.34, Chris Ross-Leffler, Karson Walker, Jett Sullins and Ethan Stout 2nd
1600m: Ty Merdian 3rd and new personal record
400m: Ethan Stout 4th
200m: Ethan Stout 3rd
