PRC BANQUET FOR LIFE

The Pregnancy Resource Center Banquet for Life will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, at Faith Fellowship Church in Houston. Keynote speaker will be Beth Caulfield, director of the movie “Conceivable.” For more information or to RSVP, contact PRC at 417-967-1100.

SPRING JUNK & CRAFT FEST

Country Crafts & Flea Market is hosting a Spring Junk & Craft Festival from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Saturday, April 11, at 104 Industrial Drive in Licking.

DAVID MARES BOOK SIGNING

David Mares will be at the Spring Junk & Craft Fest from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 11. He will be signing books and will have available “San Diego or Die” for those interested in purchasing a copy.

SCCC EASTER EGG HUNT

SCCC will host an Easter Egg Hunt at Licking’s Old City Park on Saturday, April 11, at 11 a.m.

PULLED PORK PLATE FUNDRAISER

The G1 God First Free Youth Camp will host a Pulled Pork Plate Fundraiser beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, at the Licking Pentecostal Holiness Church parking lot. Delivery available within Licking City Limits; call or text 573-208-0162.

NSDAR APRIL MEETING

The Noah Coleman Chapter, NSDAR, is scheduled to meet at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, at Colton’s in Rolla. Guest speaker Linda Dunbar will talk about “Obsolete, Odd and Absolutely Ooky Stuff from the DAR Museum Vaults.” Guests are always welcome.

WILDCAT TRAVEL CLUB SIDE BY SIDE & JEEP RIDE

The Wildcat Travel Club will host a Side by Side & Jeep Ride on Saturday, April 11. Signups begin at 10 a.m. and the ride starts at 1 p.m., at Boiling Springs Resort. The event includes a BB Poker Shoot and a 50/50 Raffle. Proceeds will help fund the travel club’s educational tour of Europe this summer.

PHELPS HEALTH MYCHART CLASS

Phelps Health will host a free “MyChart Class: Get Connected” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, in the Main Lobby of the Phelps Health Medical Office Building.

CHOCOLATE TASTING

The Licking Bridge Builders is hosting a Chocolate Tasting Fundraiser from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21. Join the fun at the Senior Center and judge a wide variety of chocolates. The event includes music and fun activities. Bring an entry and save 50% on admission.

SENIOR CITIZEN’S TROUT FISHING TOURNEY

A senior citizen’s trout fishing tournament will be held at Montauk State Park from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 23. It is open to men and women age 60 years or older.

LUMC INDOOR YARD AND BAKE SALE

The Annual Indoor Yard and Bake Sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, at the Licking United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 208 S. Main St., Licking.

BUILDER BASH

Ozark Xpress with Bobby Ray and Miranda Bury will perform at The Resort at Boiling Springs on Saturday, April 25. Music will begin at 3 p.m. and last until 9 p.m. Proceeds from donations and a raffle will go to the Color Guard at the Salem American Legion.

MUSEUM/BOOK NOOK

The Museum of Art & History and Book Nook, in Licking, have opened for the 2026 season. Hours are Mondays and Tuesdays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

GUN AND QUILT RAFFLE

The Fleet Reserve Association FRA Branch 364 is holding a Gun and Quilt Raffle. The raffles are in support of college scholarships. For more information call David Herndon at 417-967-0661.

RECOVERY UNDERGROUND

Recovery Underground, a local support group, meets at 6 p.m. on Mondays, a Bible study at 6 p.m. on Thursdays, and Church at 6 p.m. on Saturdays, each week at 108 Main Street in Licking. For more information call Jake Carver at 573-889-7785.

GRIEF AND LOSS RECOVERY GROUP

Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 7:30 p.m. every Tuesday at the Licking United Methodist Church.

ADDICTION RECOVERY CLASS

A program to help you overcome any form of addiction, based on the doctrine of Jesus Christ. If you or a loved one are struggling, please come! Every Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Hwy. 63 and Hwy. E, Houston.

AOG LEGACY SERVICE

The Licking Assembly of God invites all to attend their weekly Legacy Service, held from 1 – 2 p.m. every Wednesday. This non-denominational service was begun to provide an option for those who wish to attend a mid-week service held during daylight hours.

SHERRILL TOWNSHIP

Sherrill Township meets at 5:30 p.m. every other Thursday at the township shed located at 11875 South 137, in Licking. The next meeting is April 16.

LYNCH TOWNSHIP

Lynch Township’s meetings are the first Thursday of each month at 6 p.m., at the Lynch Township Shed, 14472 Boiling Springs Road.

DIABETES SUPPORT GROUP

The Phelps Health Diabetes Support Group meets the second Tuesday of each month, from 4 to 5 p.m., at the Phelps Health Delbert Day Cancer Institute, Shirley Day Conference Rooms C, D and E, 1060 W. 10th St., Rolla. Call 573-458-7314 for information.

BOONE TOWNSHIP MEETING

Boone Township meets the second Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m., at the Township Shed, 16245 Highway AF, Licking.

PARKINSON’S AND CAREGIVERS SUPPORT GROUP

The Phelps Health Parkinson’s and Caregivers Support Group meets the third Tuesday of each month, from 2:30 to 4 p.m., at the Phelps Health Delbert Day Cancer Institute, Shirley Day Conference Room B, 1060 West 10th St., Rolla. Call 573-458-3007 for information.

OZARK MOUNTAIN AMATEUR RADIO CLUB

The Ozark Mountain Amateur Radio Club meets the third Saturday of each month, at noon at the Lone Star Annex, 114 W. Main St. in downtown Houston.
