The Licking Fire Department Auxiliary Chili Dinner, Auction and 50/50 Raffle was held on Saturday at the Fox Community Room. Auxiliary members, volunteer firefighters and board members worked together to make the event a success.

The community turned out for the event, and between meals sold and auction items, a little over $6,000.00 was raised.

The funds are earmarked for supplies to help keep firefighters fed and hydrated during lengthy fire calls. Some of the funds may also be used to assist with the purchase of equipment the firefighters need to do their jobs safely and effectively.

The Auxiliary and the fire department say a big thank you to the community for their support in attending the event, donating items for the auction and helping buy supplies.
