Anna Flatley named MHSVCA Small School Junior High Coach of the Year

Licking R-VIII is proud to announce that Anna Flatley has been named the Missouri High School Volleyball Coaches Association (MHSVCA) Small School Junior High Coach of the Year, a prestigious honor recognizing excellence, leadership, and impact on student-athletes.

Coach Cox led the Wildcat Junior High Volleyball program to an outstanding season, posting a 12–4 record with the eighth grade team and a 13–4 record with the seventh grade team. Beyond the wins and losses, her commitment to player development, teamwork, and sportsmanship has made a lasting impact on every athlete in the program.

Athletic Director Tammy Gorman praised Flatley for her dedication and character, saying: “Anna is a great example of excellence. She works hard, never complains, and is always willing to do whatever it takes to make our program better. She is a phenomenal role model and leads by example. We are lucky to have her at Licking and a part of our Licking Wildcat Volleyball Program.”

Coach Flatley’s passion for teaching the game, attention to detail, and ability to connect with her players have helped build a strong foundation for the future of Wildcat volleyball. This award reflects not only her success on the court, but the positive culture she continues to create within the Licking athletic program.
