Houston man charged with Domestic Assault and Abuse of Child

Anthony Bigby, Jr., age 40, of Houston, was arrested by the Houston Police Department on January 14, after an investigation into an allegation of kicking a 7-year-old in the face on January 10, 2026. Bigby is facing charges of Domestic Assault – 2nd Degree, and Abuse or Neglect of a Child-Serious Emotional or Physical Injury-No Sexual Contact.
As a result of the investigation, the Houston Police Department placed Bigby under arrest on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges, and he was transported to the Texas County Jail. Formal charges were filed and a $10,000.00 cash or surety bond was set.
