SCMMEA District 7th and 8th grade honor bands

The Junior High District Seventh Grade Honor Band and the Junior High District Eighth Grade Honor Band are each comprised of teacher-nominated students within the South Central Missouri Music Educators Association (SCMMEA). Two Licking Junior High School students were selected for this year’s District Honors bands. Kamryn Goforth has been accepted to play trumpet in the seventh grade band, and Brooke Stout has been accepted to play the baritone saxophone in the eighth grade band. A concert will be held at Logan-Rogersville High School featuring the two honor bands on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 5 p.m. Admission is free.
