Fall Festival at United Methodist

The beautiful quilt show in the sanctuary was one of the many wonderful parts of the United Methodist Church Fall Festival.
Licking United Methodist Church hosted a Fall Festival on Saturday in their Fellowship Hall. Breakfast, lunch, shopping, a quilt show and live music could all be found at the festival.
Breakfast was biscuits and gravy with sausage, and lunch was mostaciolli or chili. A good breakfast followed by browsing through tables of handmade crafts, antiques, Christmas gifts and baked goods, jams and jellies was a great start to the day. For those who have missed the cookies and other baked goods from the Farmers Market, the opportunity to have a few more favorite sweet treats could not be passed up.
Time spent viewing the quilt show in the church sanctuary was relaxing and inspirational at the same time. Many varieties of quilt patterns, of different ages and styles were on display.
Live music by Pastor Mitch Henson, who accompanied his singing with a guitar, could be enjoyed while sitting and relaxing, viewing the quilt show, or while shopping for goodies in the Fellowship Hall.
All of these things made the festival a nice outing for a fall Saturday.
