Chili Supper/Auction benefit fills Fox Community Room

Family and friends of Sue and Jack Daniels, seated in front, held a chili supper and auction benefit for Jack on Saturday at the Fox Community Room. Also included in the benefit was a gun raffle for a Ruger American Gen II 30.06 with a 20-inch barrel. Thanks to the generosity of a supporting community of friends, family, and businesses, the auction was a great success. It included the auction of the raffled gun – twice – after the raffle winner generously donated it to be auctioned and then the first winning bidder of the auctioned gun generously did the same. After 11 years, Jack Daniels’ cancer has returned and he is receiving treatments again. All proceeds went directly to Jack and Sue Daniels to help with financial support.
