Around 75 adults and youth showed up to support local cancer patients at G-Ma Pam’s Spooktacular 5k Glow Walk/Run last Thursday in Licking. Runners and walkers set off at 7:30 p.m. on a 5k route, with participants making a choice along the way to turn onto the spooky trail to be chased by ghosts or goblins, or continue on the fun route with no spooky stuff. Everyone donned glow sticks to help drivers (and spookers) see them, and they were on their way. Organizer Kassi Ramsey reported approximately $3,300.00 was raised at the event, with all proceeds used to help local cancer patients with expenses incurred during treatment.
