A Meet and Greet event was held on Saturday morning at the Fox Fire Station in Licking. Several members of the Licking/Licking Rural Fire departments, the Licking Rural Fire Department Board, the Licking Police Department, and the Licking City Council were on hand to greet the public.
Firefighters prepared a free breakfast of pancakes and sausage for those attending the event. Several people did stop in throughout the morning to speak to the first responders and board members.
A Fire Department Auxiliary is also being started. Anyone interested in becoming a member of the auxiliary should reach out to Jackie Duncan or Jennifer Trout for more information or stop by the Fire Station during one of their training sessions on Thursday evenings.
