Obituary – Donald “Donnie” Simmons, Jr.

Donald “Donnie” A. Simmons, Jr., age 58, of Licking, Mo., passed away Friday, October 3, 2025, at the University Hospital in Columbia, Mo.

Donnie was born July 13, 1967, in Jacksonville, Fla., a son to Donald A. Simmons, Sr., and the late Paula Martin.

On May 14, 2020, Donnie was united in marriage to Rebecca Dollhopf in Newport, Tenn.. She survives at their home in Licking.

Donnie was an owner/partner in Smoky Mountain Dobermans before moving to Missouri.

He enjoyed motorcycles and raising Doberman Pinschers.

In addition to his wife, Donnie is survived by his children, Jessie, Laura and Cameron of the state of Florida, Ethan, Brittney, Zack, and Timothy, all of the state of Tennessee, and his grandchildren, Heaven and Kolten of the state of Florida.
