Obituary -Christina S. Thebeau

Christina Sue Thebeau, age 57, of Edgar Springs, Mo., passed away September 26, 2025. Chrissy was born on April 11, 1968, in West Plains, Mo., to Kenneth Richard Ellison and Susan Frances (Pettis) Ellison.

Chrissy enjoyed decorating, organizing, and cleaning. No matter where she called home, she took great pride in making sure it was cozy and clean. She loved her dogs as if they were her children. She loved her children and grandchildren with her whole heart. Chrissy married John Thebeau on July 17, 2017. Together they owned and managed Bubba’s Hauling.

Chrissy is survived by her husband, John Edward Thebeau; daughters, Jamie Morris, of Jefferson City, Jennifer Morris (Tim Jackson), of Jefferson City, and Jacqueline Morris, of Steelville; step-children, Josh Thebeau; of Granite City, Ill., and Katie Thebeau, of Granite City, Ill.; sisters, Melissa Edwards (Luke), of Clinton, and Laura Burris, of Independence; brother Robert Hunt (Emi), of Pompano Beach Fla.; grandchildren, Andrew Jackson, Aden Jackson, Heidi Holleman, Ora Edmonds, McKayla Mitchell and Royal Ball, of Jefferson City, Mo., Atlas, Harley and Ellie Pipkin, of Steelville; aunt Judi Pettis, of Sedalia; as well as, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs, Aalayah, Bonnie and Casper. She is preceded in death by her mother, Susan Burris; father, Kenneth Ellison; brother-in-law, Jim Thebeau, of Edgar Springs; and her beloved dogs, Harley Davidson and Clyde.

A visitation for Chrissy will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 12 – 2 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home, 224 S. Grand Ave., Houston, MO 65483. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Evans Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at www.evansfh.com.
