Bronson sentenced to four years for Sexual Misconduct

A Salem man accused of Sexual Misconduct Involving a Child regarding an incident that occurred in Licking on September 3, 2024, has pleaded guilty and received a sentence of four years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.

An officer of the Licking Police Department was dispatched to the Old City Park in Licking on September 3, 2024, when a witness belonging to Bikers Against Predators contacted Texas County 911 about a potential online predator. Upon the officer’s arrival, the witness and Toby Shane Bronson, age 27, of Salem, were located. Digital information was provided by the witness showing that Bronson came to the park planning to have sexual relations with who he believed to be an 11-year-old girl. Bronson was arrested and subsequently charged with Sexual Misconduct Involving a Child under 15 – 1st Offense.

On September 2, 2025, Bronson entered a plea of guilty and was sentenced to a four-year term of imprisonment.
