Obituary – Luetta Swaringim
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Luetta Swaringim, of Licking, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Luetta left this world on August 15, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving a void in the lives of so many people.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Martin and Ida Martin; her husband, Henry Swaringim; her daughter, Sharon Andrus; her grandsons, Karl Swaringim and Patrick Swaringim; her children-in-law, Reba Swaringim and Paul Andrus; her grandchildren-in-law, Calvin Kepple and Reva Swaringim; and her siblings, Mabel, Hazel, Jesse, Loretta, Helen, Margaret, Glenwood and William.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Swaringim and Don Swaringim (Pamela); her grandchildren, Kathy Watson (Jay), Kimberly Kepple (Nick), Andrew Scheller (Cristy), Crystal Smith (Ron) and Donald Swaringim; and her siblings, Martha and Lawrence. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Chapel Hill Mortuary – Cedar Hill (6300 State Rte 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 2 p.m. at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens (6300 State Rte 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016).
Memorial donations may be made on behalf of Luetta to the American Heart Association, ALS Association, and the American Diabetes Association.
