Ride for LaDonna

Over 20 people took Jeeps, trucks and side-by-sides on the Ride for LaDonna Saturday.
A benefit Ride for LaDonna was held on Saturday, June 7, beginning at Crow Creek Bar & Grill. It was followed by a Benefit Auction after the ride. This was accompanied by a benefit meal offered throughout the day.
The ride began just after 1 p.m. The threat of rain may have decreased the numbers traveling in the ride, but it didn’t stop it. Over 20 people, many in trucks, Jeeps or SUVs, went on the ride. Following their return, a Benefit Auction was held at Crow Creek Bar & Grill, which organizers say was very successful.
LaDonna Duncan Vestal is currently battling colon cancer and strongly needs prayers for healing along with financial support as her medical bills pile up. Funds raised at the benefit were to go toward medical expenses..
In addition to the money raised that day, benefit organizers will be placing donation jars around Licking, and t-shirts are being sold on her behalf. Anyone interested in a t-shirt can contact Brandy Jean on Facebook or call her at 573-889-9174.
