Blake Potts – professional rodeo clown

The 40th Licking Chamber of Commerce Rodeo will be held Friday and Saturday, May 30 and 31, at the Licking Rodeo Grounds. This year’s rodeo will feature Blake Potts as rodeo clown and barrel man.

Blake Potts is a professional rodeo clown and barrel man from Sedalia, Missouri. He has been traveling all over the United States, entertaining rodeo and bull riding fans.

Blake started becoming a rodeo clown at the age of 16. As a little kid, he loved the sport of rodeo and would always attend the bull riding and rodeo in Sedalia every February, telling his parents he wanted to become a professional rodeo clown when he grew up. Now Blake is pursuing his dream. He is dedicated to entertaining audiences and demonstrating professionalism and hard work behind the scenes at the rodeo. Blake also makes personal appearances at sponsor locations, radio spots, parades and other promotional activities in support of the rodeos and bull ridings he works.

Blake is very blessed and thankful to his Lord and Savior for letting him do what he loves as a professional rodeo clown. He is also grateful to have his beautiful family, wife Kendell, daughter Briley, and son Wyatt, supporting him 100 percent as he lives his dream.
