Obituary – Cecil Dean Diedrich

Cecil Dean Diedrich, 68, previously of Licking, Mo., passed away April 11, 2025, in Birch Tree, Mo. Dean was born on August 12, 1956, in Licking, Mo., to Wayne and Violet (Jones) Diedrich.

Dean went to school in Licking. He worked as a meat cutter/butcher at Hasting Meat Packing Plant. Dean enjoyed hunting, fishing, and music.

Dean is survived by his son, Travis Diedrich (Juanita); brother, Dale Diedrich (Terri); six grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Violet Diedrich; and grandparents, Luther and Mary Diedrich and Cecil and Mabel Jones.

A visitation for Dean will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 10 – 11 a.m. at Fox Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Mr. Rick Mosher officiating.
