Obituary: Rosalie E. Miller
Rosalie Ellen Miller, 88, a resident of Carrollton, Mo., passed away peacefully at the Life Care Center of Carrolton in Carrollton, Mo. She was born May 25, 1936, to John and Oneta (Stafford) Karnes, in Texas County, Mo.
Rosalie was united in marriage to Raymond “Bud” R. Miller on October 28, 1958, in California. She spent over 40 years working as a private caregiver to the community of Carrollton, Mo., and the surrounding areas. Rosalie had a large cookie jar collection, doll collection and rooster collection. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and watching “Dancing with the Stars” along with many game shows. Above all Rosalie cherished spending time with her family.
Rosalie is survived by her children, Rhonda Heselton and her husband, Mike, of Carrollton, Vickie Becker and her husband, George, of Carrollton, Cindi Randolph and her husband, David, of Carrollton, and Jason Miller and his wife, Kathryn, of Carrollton; grandchildren, Adrian Long, Adam Long, Buddy Thomas, Cody Thomas, Aaron Becker, Bonnie Becker, Dylan Randolph, McKayla Rodgers, Paige Allwood, Ryane Johnson, Jordan Miller, Andrew Campbell, Alex Campbell, Peyton Miller and Tymber Miller; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, Lloyd Karnes, of Taft, Calif., and Dean Karnes and his wife, Christine, of Licking. Rosalie is preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Judy Stimpson; parents; and siblings, Don Karnes, Bonnie Daily and Doyle Karnes.
A graveside service was held at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2025, at the Carroll Memory Gardens Cemetery in Carrollton, Mo.
