Obituary – Linda G. Medlock

Linda Gail (Lane) Medlock was born on September 21, 1952, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to William Jackson Lane and Maxine Jewell (Wilson) Lane. She passed away September 17, 2024, in Houston, Missouri, at the age of 71.
Linda attended Houston High School. She married Dennis “Denny” Ricky Medlock on November 1, 1973, and together they raised two daughters, Tonya and Nicole. Linda loved listening to music, especially rock music. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking meals that everyone loved. Linda worked at Montauk for several years of her life. Her greatest joy was her grandkids, she loved spending time with them and teaching them life lessons. Linda was an outgoing woman whose door was always open. Linda took care of her family with much love and support.
Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Maxine; husband, Denny; daughter, Tonya Counts; and brother, Billy Lane.
She is survived by her father, William Lane; daughter, Nicole Sisco; son-in-law, Tom Counts; stepdaughter, KaeKae Lawler; grandchildren, Shelby Coleman and husband Lane, Summer Schneider and husband Alex, Wiley Sisco, and Kolby Sisco; siblings, George Lane and wife Kathy, and Debbie Ras; as well as numerous other family and friends. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
A funeral service for Linda will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home with Mr. Kevin Reed officiating. A visitation will be held two hours prior to the funeral from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Interment is to follow at Pine Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers are Wiley Sisco, Lane Coleman, Alex Schneider, Tom Counts, Kolby Sisco, and Jacob Koch. Arrangements entrusted to Evans Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at www.evansfh.com.
