Obituary – Jerry L. Fraser

Jerry Lee Fraser, born January 30, 1940, slipped the bonds of earth and became one with the stars in the heavens once again on June 30, 2024.
For too long he couldn’t breathe, walk, dress or bathe himself after a big life of work, adventure and service. Finally, his body released its hold on his magnificent spirit and unconditionally loving heart, and he reunited with his parents, wife (actually, wives, but only one could go the distance), a sister, a son, a daughter, a granddaughter, a grandson, and so many friends hid in death’s dateless night.
The earth is a little less wonderful today. But Jerry’s love still envelops all who knew and loved him here, including his sons, Patrick and Kelly; his daughters, Rhea Anne, Dawn and Kathy; his brothers Steve and Roger; his sister Sandy – and their partners, their children and their children’s children. His memory lives on in the hearts of his friends and extended family members in city and country alike.
Seriously, he was one of the best. Grief is heavy and cold, but precious memories will ultimately lighten the load and warm the hearts of all who feel his loss.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, Mo. Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. with Rhea Anne Martir officiating.
