Obituary – Floyd “Ed” Walden

Floyd “Ed” Edward Walden was born February 5, 1961, in San Pedro, Calif., and passed away June 8, 2023, in Licking, Mo. He was the son of the late Wilma Jeane (Pennock) Johnson, of Licking, and Floyd “Duke” Lindsay Walden, of Montana.
Ed loved his friends and family. He spent years truck driving, landscaping and working in construction, but his biggest passion was music. He was a self-taught guitar player since middle school. At times he was a one-man band, and has been involved with multiple bands most recently Moonshine Express.
Ed is survived by his sons, Hunter and Jacob, of California, and sisters, Loretta “Lori” (Walden) Stark, of Tennessee, Teresa (Johnson) Edgar, of Edgar Springs, Lisa (Johnson) Greear, of Summersville, Tina (Johnson) Griem, of Kansas, and Renee (Johnson) Keaton, of Licking.
Final arrangements for Ed will be announced at a later date.

Ed was the Most kind and loving person I have ever met
We met when he was 25 years old. It was love at first sight, for both of us. I know no one will understand.it but Ed and I did. He said he will always be waiting for me. It’s has been so very many years, a ND one has ever loved me like Ed. And I loved him more than life. He was my soul mate. I love you Ed. I will meet you in Heaven.
