ST. JOHN CATHOLIC CHURCH FISH FRY
A Fish Fry will be held at St. John Catholic Church from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, September 25. Fish, fries, brown beans, coleslaw, dessert and drink will be served.
UNITED JOY WOMEN’S CONFERENCE

ANNUAL FALL FESTIVAL & TRACTOR SHOW
Anutt Community Church is hosting its 4th Annual Fall Festival and Tractor Show beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 26. YOUNG COMM. CTR. GUN RAFFLE & DINNER
The Young Community Center (Historic Anutt School) in Anutt will be drawing the winner of a gun raffle (Henry LASR .300) at 6:45 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, at a dine-in or carry-out dinner fundraiser at the center. CANDLELIGHT VIGIL
A candlelight vigil will be held on Saturday, September 26, starting at 7 p.m., in the gravel parking lot south of Licking High School, in honor of Jacob Smith. All are welcome to attend.

ROSE HOLLAND TROUT DERBY
The 63rd Annual Rose Holland Trout Derby, an American Heart Association Fund Raiser, will be held Saturday and Sunday, October 3-4, at Montauk State Park. A Cruise-In will be held Friday evening. Prizes are handed out at noon on Sunday.
MRFD HAM & BEANS DINNER

NOAH COLEMAN CHAPTER NSDAR MTG
The Noah Coleman Chapter NSDAR will meet at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 10, at Sybill’s in St. James. The program will be provided by David Hummingbird, of the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee. Visitors are always welcome.
CHILI SUPPER AND POOL TOURNAMENT
Licking Bridge Builders will host an all-you-can-eat chili supper on Tuesday, October 13, at the Licking Senior Center. Chili with all the fixings, hot dog or grilled cheese, a dessert and a drink will be served from 4:30 to 7 p.m. A double elimination pool tournament (limited to 10 players) will begin at 6 p.m. Call Steve Blankenship at 816-244-7514 for more information about the pool tournament.
HAUNTING OF THE MONTAUK MILL
A not-so-scary, historical, fun for the whole family event will take place on Saturday, October 17. Spooky-fun crafts and games at the new picnic shelter begin at 2 p.m., with mill tours at 5:30, 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 p.m.
REVIVAL SERVICE UNDER THE PAVILION
There will be a Revival Service Under the Pavilion at Licking’s Old City Park (by the Rodeo Grounds) at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, October 30. The Wallis’ will bring a message through song and the word of God. Bring your lawn chairs!
MUSEUM/BOOK NOOK
The Museum of Art & History and Book Nook, in Licking, have opened for the 2026 season. Hours are Mondays and Tuesdays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
