Obituary – Kandy K. Hall
Kandy Kristina (Kane) Hall, age 76, of Licking, passed away on September 17, 2026, at home surrounded by her family. Kandy was born on March 24, 1950, at St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles, Mo., to Irving and Juanita (Westfall) Kane.
Kandy grew up in the Overland area of St. Louis. She was baptized and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age. Kandy graduated from Ritenour High School in 1968. She married Thomas E. Hall in 1984. Kandy was a stay-at-home mother in her younger years, then she worked as a bartender, auto parts delivery driver, and retired from Rawlings.
Kandy always loved country life and spent many of her years in Licking; she finally had the chance to move here full-time with her husband in 2004. Kandy loved fishing, float trips, camping, BBQs, good music, dancing–all with her family and friends. She also loved her animals, especially her dogs. Back in the day, Kandy was in a pool league and could run the table. She wasn’t bad at darts, poker, or horseshoes either. She loved friendly competition, in good fun, but that didn’t mean she took it easy on you; she liked winning! Kandy also liked to just sit around and reminisce with family and friends about old times and memories-while having her favorite beverage “Busch Beer,” but in her older years her daughters corrupted her with their blended coffees.
Kandy is survived by her children, Alisa “Bunny” Heidbrink (Jim), of Licking, Haley Hall (Travis Kuhn), of Edgar Springs, Kalen Hall, of Licking, and Erik Burle; step children, Donna Hall, of Los Angeles, Calif., and Zach Hall, of Los Angeles, Calif.; grandchildren, Brooke Drennen, Trenden Kuhn, Tayah Kuhn, Taiven Kuhn, Dustin Dean, Mickey McClary; two step-grandchildren; brother, Michael Kane (Norine), of Wentzville; nine great-grandchildren; along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends that have become like family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Hall; parents, Irving and Juanita Kane; and granddaughter, Jessica Hall.
Kandy was a wonderful mother, wife, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her but never forgotten. We know you are dancing and rejoicing in heaven with Jesus, pain free.
A memorial visitation for Kandy will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Fox Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 12 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to Fox Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at www.foxfh.net.
